Attorney Stephen Wade Invited to Join Litigation Counsel of America

AUBURN, ME (May 27, 2010) - Commercial litigation and business law firm Skelton, Taintor & Abbott is proud to announce that Stephen B. Wade, a partner in the firm, has become a fellow of the reputable trial lawyer honorary society Litigation Counsel of America (LCA).

Membership in the Litigation Counsel of America is by invitation only. With less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers selected to join as fellows, Steve was evaluated based on his effectiveness in litigation and trial practice, and his ethical reputation.

Steve has more than 30 years of legal experience in personal injury, product liability, medical malpractice and other litigation matters involving claims of negligence. He is admitted to practice in Maine’s state and federal courts, as well as the First Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals. Steve has been board certified as a civil trial specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, and in addition to being a fellow of LCA, was invited to join a number of other highly prestigious trial lawyer associations, including The International Society of Barristers and The Academy of Trial Advocacy
