Attorney Michael Malloy Joins Androscoggin County Chamber Board of Directors


Skelton, Taintor & Abbott associate Michael Malloy has been elected to the board of directors for the Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce. In addition to being involved with the local chamber, he also attends regional economic growth council meetings.

Michael practices in the areas of commercial litigation, corporate law, employment law, commercial and civil litigation, medical malpractice, personal injury, and municipal law. He also practices in the area of immigration law and established Skelton, Taintor & Abbott's immigration law practice. In this capacity, he counsels individuals and employers seeking temporary and permanent benefits under U.S. immigration law. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and a pro bono panelist for the Immigrant Legal Advocacy Project.

Michael received his law degree from Suffolk University Law School and undergraduate degree from Middlebury College. He also studied at Université de Paris III (Sorbonne Nouvelle) and the Institut Catholique in Paris, France. He is admitted to practice before all state courts in Maine and Massachusetts, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Maine.
